Nochex

Nochex is a UK DEBIT & CREDIT card processor that models itself loosely on PayPal.

Once registered as a seller, you simply add the Nochex logo and payment button to your site (copy and paste again) and you're ready!

 Like PayPal, you need to authorise your account by confirming two amounts (under a Pound) debited from your bank account, bbut once done, you can accept payments from anybody with an email address. Your customers don't even need to be verified Nochex account holders.

There are several drawbacks to this otherwise excellent service, not least being the fact that your customers have to be in the UK and they have to be using a bank debit card rather than a credit card - which severely limits your chances of making a sale.

Nochex is a relative newcomer to the third party transaction services market and will probably undergo several service enhancements in months to come.

It would be nice of they accepted credit cards.

It would be useful if they handled recurring billing like PayPal and MoneyBookers does.

In our opinion, unless you don't qualify for a PayPal account, there isn't much reason to choose Nochex. They no longer accept adult sites and the customer service in our experience, is rather poor compared to other providers. Nochex is a last resort processor in our opinion.
